Hendricks, a subtile rose-infused gin that allows the perfect G&T, has always been on the original side. A spoonful of creativity, a dose of smiles, a pinch of crazyness, a zest of Victorian atmosphere, a slice of cucumber, shake, add a straw, serve on the rocks.
Valentine day is just around the corner so romance is of the essence. Well, take a few steps back, jump in the past and ask Dr Humphrey SixWivs and Mrs Isabella Forlornicate for advice. With which hand should you accept a gentleman’s rose if you wish to signify interest… or indifference? How should you swing you fan to mean you would like to be walked back home? When can a gentleman actually request a kiss?
Those codes may sound not appliable to the London of today but they do have the charming power of making you smile. More importantly, they underline the elegance of a thought, the importance in a smile, a look, a gesture: a lovely seduction game, much more sensual that connecting to a facebook account. And of course, the fan is not part of our fashionista outfit anymore but I bet you that after trying their oh-so-soft feather one, you will be strolling all the vintage shops around to find a similar one!
