Breakfast treats with Alpro – Deskfest #5

Hello sunshine! Friday. Finally. Funny how we wake up with a smile when we realise that. It makes me feel lighter, makes me feel like dancing. I go through files happily, thinking of the adventures ahead. And so I tried to bring these little confettis of colour of happiness in the #Desfest challenge with Alpro. To be fair, it has not felt like a challenge at all. None of my recipes had to be readjusted because I was using a different kind of milk or cream. Quite a few actually were better then the original version. Let alone, it meant guilt-free as it had a healthy thought! Now, breakfast time. Hot chocolate, of course but do go for the best quality of drak one you can find in the baking aisle. I used Alpro soya milk but the hazulnut one is brilliant too and reminds me of a liquid nutella, such a lovely velvety texture. Oh, and as good cold if you do not have a microwave at home. As for treats, two option. Balanced? Redcurrants and blueberries with a touch of  Alpro pouring yogurt. More fun? Make pancakes (replace the milk by some Alpro Almond one!), roll them and fill them with fruit. Tip: mix some Alpro yogurt with lemon curd for a wonderful tanginess… Spoon ready?
