Patchi chocolates

I will confess to it -  I have a sweet tooth. But a gourmet one. I much prefer a single square of  refined chocolate than a whole box of too sugary ones or lacking in cacao. My latest discovery is Patchi, funded in Beirut in 1974 and since then has designed high quality treats and mouthwatering alliances. In England, Harrods exclusively distributes it (wow!) and to get your ribonned box from the foodcourt really add to the magic.

Their collection counts no less than 55 delicate flavours. Crunchy pyramid of caramelised hazelnuts under a thin ganache…. Perfect melting of a coffee infused chocolats, intense, voluptuous…  date filled with almond under gorgeous chocolate, moist, tender… Shortcake meringue like, crunchiness of cereals, strawberry coulis… Oh those are to be enjoyed with your eyes closed, pure happiness!

Also worth trying, their pistachio and apricot nougats, their Jordan almond in their sugar shells. Go on… Go bench testing!
