The appearing rooms on Southbank

They’re back!

Danish artist Jeppe Hein’s water sculpture has just been installed again on Southbank.

This rectangle which then divides in 4 internal rectangles is real fun: the walls appear and disappear out of water. Very interactive, of course, just jump in!

Parents:  all kids, whatever their age, love it. And on a sunny day, what better free activity could you ask for? Go with little ones though: I saw a parent chatting outside, not paying attention, and the 3 year old got blocked by a sudden waterwall. Of course, he panicked. The floor is made out of some elastic rubber with holes to prevent any risk of slippery, the whole theme has been so well thought… Enjoy!
