Home sweet home – Furniture Village

Sponsored post

Ah, finally. Holidays. Time to enjoy the coziness of the house, relax, have more meals with the family, sip a cup of tea with a good book… Time to slow down. And that is definitely my 2013 resolution – less rushing around, more home sweet home time. Recreate a comfortable haven with lots of sharing spaces, more cooking and inviting friends for dinner…

The best place to start, of course is to get new furniture. Something… inviting, inspiring. I love Furniture Village for this – everything I need, every room of the house covered. They search for the best brands: the most established ones, of course, such as Tempur Collins and Hayes and G-plan, but also keep a focus on smaller names rising up –  the ones you will see in magazines very quickly: HTL, Ashley Manor, Actona. Price promise is a must – there never is any need to shop around and compare, you know they are giving you the best deal on the market. Stress free! I have my eyes on amazing sofas – have a look at those… The first one comes from the Viva Italiana collection from their World of Leather brand. Gorgeous, very dolce vita, from the finest leather and impeccable finitions… Or shall I indulge in the St Lucia by HTL: stylish, and oh, the luxury of a reclining seat… Although, if you have kids, the cheerful Harlequin, with its lovely pannel of colours is just perfect…
The second main item in a house is the dining table – vital, strategic almost. So many news will be shared, so many smiles… Quality time. This winter, Furniture Village have some great bargains to meet everyones taste and needs (and after all this Christmas shopping, we all need that). If you are after a traditional wooden extending table, Willis & Gambier Tavern is just ideal. Or how about some Walnut veneer like the ALF Palermo – so much class! But you can go very contemporary too, with the Actona Corfu range you can add a real splash of colour… There really is a choice for every family. What about you? How do you picture your house next year?
