When I put my suitcases down in England for good, I did not own any mugs at all. Not a single one. Now? I have 5 shelves full. Unbelievable! And I do like them all. Really. I chose them carefully to remind of a place, an event, a book sometimes. A good novel calls for a magnificent cup. Others were given to me by people dear to my heart. I have a simple narrow white one I wouldn’t give away for the whole world, simply because it has its little story. They are my first smile in the morning, my first stop for coffee. Depending on my mood, I will select one or the other.
At the office too, they’re crucial. A discreet way to show your personality, serious or fun. Nothing breaks the ice better than a formal suit with a witty mug. Best way to start a conversation with a total stranger!
Vous êtes accroc, vous aussi? Jetez donc un coup d’œil à la fascinante collection The Mug Company. J’ai bien passé 20 minutes hier soir, à me régaler des modèles… Extra. Je les veux toutes. Il me faut juste une sixième étagère.Are you hooked too? Have a look at the quite fascinating range by The Mug Company. I spent a good 20 minutes trying to pick just one. I still can’t. My heart still hesitates between the Ha Ha Ha Ha (contagious cheerfulness!) and the Geek Chic, my new motto. Or maybe a Quentin Blake / Roald Dahl? But still the Shakespeare, Dickens, Jane Austen are original. And the You are my Cup of Tea so fitting…
You can win the mug of your choice within The Mug Company collection, together with a mini-pack of Teapigs tea. Even better, they will personalise it with your preferred message on the handle. YOUR mug. For real.
Comment jouer? A vos claviers! How to play? Just tell us in the comments below which design you prefer on their website and why. You need to have a UK address. A winner will be selected at random on September 21 (this Sunday) at 8pm. Good luck!
