Planning a visit to Brussels’ Atomium? Do make a detour via the ADAM nearby, an incredible… plasticarium. More than 2 000 plastic objects collected with passion by Philippe Decelle between the 60ies and the 21st century. An extensive archive, yes, but also quite a nostalgic journey. Some of these pieces were created by César, Arman, Joe Colombo, Verner Panton, Stark… Some of the most famous museums (Moma, Tate Modern) even borrow them from their temporary exhibitions, says it all! From one room to another, you will resicover melanin, the cheerful colours of the 70ies, the rounder shapes of the 80ies. Some are really funky, other still futuristic to this day. It’s the perfect anti-blues!
