You will find amazing murals as you walk through Vienna. Full size, covering the entire side of a building – always unexpected, surprising, a kind of urban art kind of hug… You will find a little, too, at the back of Museums Quartier, a passage beautifully named Beton Blumen (Concrete Flowers), proud of the biggest Space Invader mosaic I have ever seen (and lovingly preserved too, it was being renovated last summer). But if you want the full Shoreditch effect, London’s neighbourhood known for its abundance of graphics and colours, then head straight to the canal. No matter which side you are on, nor where you start, street art is omnipresent, a constant explosion of creativity… The walls are covered will them, the most beautiful designs often being on the many bridges pillars.
